Parshat Shemot

When moshe was shepherding yisro’s sheep one ran away as he was looking for the sheep he notices a burning bush that was not being consumed by the fire. He was surprised by this, instead of wondering and continuing on he wanted to understand what was going on, this shows the qualities of a leader, when the see something strange they want to find out more. Hashem then speaks to moshe, and tells him to go back to mitzrayim and tack out bnei yisroel.

Rashi asks why did hashem come in a low thorny bush and not in a great big tree?

He answers that Bnei yisroel were in Galos and were being tortured by the mitzrayim and Hashem was feeling the pain of b’nai yisrael in mitzrayim. This tells us that we should always feel others pain.
For example: when your friend is really sad you should not talk about an upcoming party, you should feel for their pain.

Shabbat Shalom
